Holy Family School Volunteer Opportunities
Why does the school need volunteers?
Just about every event throughout the school year requires help from volunteers. The parents of Holy Family have traditionally provided the backbone of the volunteer force that makes these events possible.
This is also an opportunity given by our school to stay involved in our children’s emotional and academic Development with the school environment.
Is there a benefit or reward to volunteering?
The rewards for this parental involvement through volunteering are many:
Your child will see you as an active participant in the school, whether being there or helping out from home. most of us remember how we enjoyed having our parents help our school, which is something many schools just do not have any more. So, we are very lucky this is offered to us. You can reach your goal of 20 Volunteer Angel Program points and have fun doing it.
Who can help?
Family members from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. that have full clearances. Clearance forms can be downloaded from this link. Please see below. Forms will also be available at school and the rectory.
What if you work?
We offer working parents the opportunity to do things from home, help selling cash cards during the weekend masses, our Parish Festival, the Roast Beef Tent at the Nazareth Block Party, sending food/paper items for events into the school & so much more.
How will you know what opportunities are available?
A survey is being sent home for you to fill out. This is merely an aid to us, so that we may help you to reach your goal of 20 Volunteer Angel Program points through matching your skills, talents, and desire to help with your available time and the needs of the school. This also allows you to receive email updates as events come closer and opportunities arise. You can also check this link for current updates.
I have also provided you below with a general idea of events and/or opportunities available throughout the year. Many more opportunities come up throughout the year, so DO NOT DESPAIR. You can contact me with any questions and concerns that you might have. I am here to help you.
Sincerely,
Michelle Bain

One kind request when you come in to volunteer:
We just kindly request that ANY time you come in to help IN the school, you go through the front office, sign in our visitor’s log, get a name tag and please sign out as you leave the building. This is not only for our children’s safety but also for your own. In case of any emergency that needs the building to be evacuated, the police and fire department need to account for all individuals that have entered the building. Thank You.
Again, please feel free to contact me if you are unsure on what to do.
Thank You,
Michelle Bain
