KINDERGARTEN

Notebooks:

    2 (bought from the office) one for a journal and one for practice

These will be bought for students and you will be notified of the cost

 

Glue & Paste:

  8 glue sticks (at least).  Send in two at a time.

  1 Elmer’s School glue

 

Scissors:

  Fiskars pointed scissors

 

Markers, Crayons and Such:

  Box of 24 Crayola crayons (no larger)

  Box of 10 Crayola Classic Colors markers

 

Pencil Box:

  Spacemaker plastic storage box (8”x5”)

 

Other:

  Box of Ziploc bags either large or small

  Box of tissues

  Box of baby wipes for clean-up

  Mat, rug or towel for rest time

  Backpack that is easy to open and close.  No backpacks on wheels, please!  They do not fit in the lockers.

  Heavy-duty bottom pocket folder (side pockets are hard to fill).  The lightweight plastic folders are great and last the entire year!

  Folder for health class

 

Mark all items with name and grade, e.g., John Doe, KB

 

***Watch for summer sales at Wal-Mart and Staples.

Snack is at approximately 9:30 each day.  Send in healthful snacks and a dish towel 

or napkin for the table in case of spills

THIRD GRADE

  Welcome to 3rd Grade.  Below is a list of items you need the 1st day of school. 

 

  1 pencil/art box for the top locker (3A only)

  1 small fabric zipper bag that fits in desk (3A only)

  1 box 16 crayons (regular colors – not glitter, smelly, pastels, etc.)

  5 #2 pencils (or BIC #2 disposable pencils 3B only)

  1 Fiskar scissors

  1 yellow highlighter

  1 glue stick

  1 Elmer’s glue (1 ¼ oz. plastic bottle)

  1 pencil sharpener with lid

  2 red pens

  1 eraser

  1 thick black Sharpie (permanent marker)

  1 box of tissues

  1 container of antibacterial wipes

  1 roll of paper towels

  4 large book socks to cover hard covered books

  1 box of multiplication flash cards

  1 pack of 3 x 5 lined index cards (for Spanish)

  1 spiral notebook with no tear line (for Health)

  4 pocket folders (1 blue for Health & 3 your choice for take home folder, etc.)

  1 lunch bag (no larger than 8”h x 10”d x 14”w to fit in top locker)

  1 backpack (no wheels & must fit inside 36”h x 10”d x 7”w locker)

 

  The following items must be purchased here at school.  They will be in the classroom on the 1st day.

  The cost of these items will be determined and you will be notified of the amount due.

  2 theme tablets (1 for home and 1 for school)

  1 homework assignment book

  4 copybooks (3 – blue 3rd grade  and 1 – black)

  3 manila folders

 

  Please have your name and grade labeled on all personal items (jacket, gym clothes, lunchbox, backpack, folders, etc.).
